CIEZA EXCHANGE. JUAN RAMÓN JIMÉNEZ SCHOOL.

As coordinator centre, we had a big responsibility with the organization of this mobility.

First of all, we need to explain that our Polish partners didn't come because of the corona crisis. Despite the fact that at that time, we didn't have any cases neither in our town nor region, their headmaster, based in the Polish government's recommendations, decide not to travel.

After coordinators meeting the rest of the groups decided to keep the dates following the recommendations we had in that time.

Danish students were the first to come and they arrived on Saturday (7th March), Norwegian expedition came on Sunday 8th March.

We followed this planning activity:
Saturday, Sunday: Welcome committee and distribution with the host families.
Monday 9th: Our students received foreign students and made a little tour around the school facilities. Then all students of our school gave them a nice welcome. A welcome event was settled in the school hall, some politicians were invited and our headmaster and coordinator gave some speeches.
After this, we had a guided tour visiting the Almadenes Canyon, Serreta Cave, And the famous event Cieza Flowering in the surroundings of Cieza. Also, solar central power was visited.
During the afternoon the students joined the eTwinning workshop with the main objective to tell the polish students what was the activities and explain a little bit about the people and experiences.

Tuesday 10
Breakfast at the School with fresh fruit related to our topic of healthy livings habits.
Some sports.

We visited the Holy Week Museum, Folklore Museum, Archeologic Museum and we went for a walking tour around the river and the mountains, in order to measure noises.
In the afternoon students joined a Bakery Workshop where they elaborated their own regional pastries.
They really enjoyed this activity. All ingredients were organic and natural.

Wednesday 11
Healthy Breakfast at the school. Then foreign students joined some classes, Spanish, sciences, ICTs, sports.
Together with developed the noise map Workshop. Then we made some measurements out of the school in order to provide the necessary data.
As a symbol of our project, one student from each group planted a tree in our school.
During the afternoon we joined eTwinning workshop.

Thursday 12

After a sport session at the school, we went to collect some rubbish at the riverside. We also watered the trees and play some games. Also made some noise measurements to compare it with other areas with much noise pollution.
During the afternoon we visited the Arena Bull of Cieza, an iconic place in our town. Foreign students had a special interest in visiting this place.

Because of the general situation across Europe and following the right indicators of their headmaster, Danish students came back home one day earlier.
So we just take advantage of this evening to say goodbye.

Friday 13.
Because the corona crisis the scheduled activities for this day were cancelled, despite the fact that at that time we still had 0 cases in our town.
So Friday our students and the Norwegians we're doing some sports and during the afternoon, we organised the final activity graffiti workshop, which was an extremely nice experience and they did a really good job.

GRACIAS POR TODO
